Is Slake Your Skin™ really 100% Natural?

YES, our products are 100% natural. At anytime if there is a product that is not natural we will have a CLEAR disclaimer regarding it. We pride ourselves on integrity, at all times. We would never sale a product that has been chemically tampered with or that would jeopardize any of our Slaker’s skin. Our only mission is to Slake (Quench) your skin and leave you feeling more confident and happy in your own skin.

Why did the CEO/Founder start Slake Your Skin™?

The CEO/Founder believes that all people should have beautiful skin. Products can be so expensive and not have the overall best interest for your skin. She wants to make sure that Slake Your Skin products are affordable, healthy, 100% natural and slake for all skin types, and in any type of weather condition.

What days do we ship out product?

We ship out product on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through USPS, unless specific event or promotion is going on. At checkout everyone is given two options: $8.30 (2-5 business days) or $15.05 (1-3 business day). These prices are what we have found to be the most fair and reasonable price, based directly on the priority shipping prices set by USPS. That way you get them in the quickest time possible for your needs.

For the Snohomish County in WA State & Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Bronx in NYC we have a pick up and delivery options.

What happens if the shipping address is wrong?

If you have only received a email confirmation but not yet received a tracking number email confirmation, you can simply email us at contact@slakeyourskinnow.com with your name, tracking number, and a updated address.

If you have already received your tracking number email confirmation you will need to wait for the package to be returned to our facility. Please still email us at contact@slakeyourskinnow.com with your name, tracking number and updated address. After that we will invoice you a reshipping fees so we can get your package sent out.

If it it our error and our system somehow gets the address wrong and its sent back to us, we will immediately email or text you and will ship you your product, no extra charge. (This has not happen yet, but in any case we are more than willing to admit our errors and correct it.)

Who does Slake Your Skin™ target?

EVERYONE!! We are 100% unisex and we are not here to judge what you prefer to keep YOUR skin glowing! A lot of our products do target the more feminine population, but we also believe not just the feminine population should have beautiful skin but masculine as well. Sometimes as society we think masculine, and our minds automatically think “macho”, “tough”, or “rough”, but Slake Your Skin Beauty believes everyone should feel great. The truth is both masculine and feminine people need healthy, and affordable product and we want to be there for them all. We are also LGBTQ friendly and believe everyone no matter how you identify should always have the best possible access to affordable, healthy and 100% natural products.

Do we ship Internationally?

Unfortunately, currently no. We do have high hopes of expanding Internationally in the near future.

Why are your scents called “flavors?”

Slake refers to our different scent options as “flavor options” because we believe it is a “Flavor to your skin” and our mission is to please your skin.

How do you store products?

All Slake products can be stored in room temperature condition. If stored area becomes too warm (especially with whipped body butter) simply place in refrigerator. If body butter melts (since it is all natural) put in freezer for a day, followed by refrigerator.

Is Slake safe for children?

Yes, Slake is a 100% natural brand. Extremely safe for all ages. We have no additives in any of our products. We suggest staying away from our Vanilla Turmeric soap as it is a anti-inflammatory natural agent. We suggest checking out our “Just for kids” section.

Do Slake products expire since they are 100% natural?

Slake products are 100% natural and since we do not add additives to make them last longer our products do have a expiration date. They will last up to a 1 year period before needing to be disposed of. Our Soaps can last up to a 2 year period before needing to be disposed of.

What was Slake Your Skin’s first product?

Handcrafted Soap! Our soap is created with all-natural oils and essential oils. After it is handcrafted and created, it is left in the settling room for a period of time to curate to the perfection it is.

How “Affordable” are Slake Your Skin™ products?

Very affordable! No individual product is over $30! 85% of our products are under $10! We want to make sure that everyone has access to a healthy brand that is 100% natural and healthy for you.
